This unit was created in 1997, when crew of few guys with Martin „MTJ“ Jirsa at the head of unit, chose reneacting 173rd Airborne Brigade in Vietnam. Transformation 173rd into modern form happened in 2005, actually after action „Sarah II“. At that time, people came to the unit from other teams, who looked for change and 173rd could offer it. from the old 173rd remained only two members, remaining members stopped running either immediately at the time of transformation or in the next few months.
We chose 74th LRS inf. (long range surveillance detachment Infantry), because it was substantially different from other classic paratrooper. - our model - had about 35 members, including the Leaders. In the greatest strength we had almost 40 members, who have been structured into 5 teams (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo) and one sniper team (Foxtrot). Since then there have been many waves of recruitment, some stayed, others did not last and they fell away. Currently, our team is structured into three teams (alphabetically - Bravo, Delta, Echo). The founder of the unit CPT. MTJ left after the birth of his daughter in airsoft "retirement" - and created familiar project REGI Base. He has given command of the unit to Jan "Harry" Do?kal, who is also the commander of Delta Squad.
Around 2007 was purchased first Suzuki Samurai, since then, the fleet has expanded and currently has 6 combat vehicles. At the events is 173rd self-sufficient, we own a large military tents, generator etc..
The philosophy of the unit is create a good group of friends, but even so, you must meet certain standards. Do not forget that our unit bears the name of real soldiers - Heroes, and therefore we will do everything for not shame their name.

Vznik jednotky se datuje v letech 1997-1998, kdy se parta lidí v ?ele s Martinem "MTJ" Jirsou rozhodla jezdit Vietnam. Transformace 173rd do podoby jakou ji známe dnes prob?hla v roce 2005, konkrétn? po akci SARAH II. V té dob? do jednotky p?išli lidi z jiných team?, kte?í hledali zm?nu a tu jim 173rd byla schopna nabídnout. Z p?vodní namové jednotky z?stali 173rd v?rni jen dva ?lenové, zbylí ?lenové p?estali jezdit bu? ihned v dob? transformace, ?i v pr?b?hu následujících m?síc?.
74th LRS inf.(long range surveillance detachment Infantry) jsme si zvolili, protože se podstatn? lišila od ostatních klasických výsadká?? svou ?inností i strukturou. 74th LRS inf. - náš vzor - m?la okolo 35 ?len? v?etn? velení. V nejv?tší síle jsme m?li tém? 40 ?len?, jež byli strukturování do 5ti družstev(Alfa, Bravo,Charlie, Delta, Echo) a jednoho sniper teamu(Foxtrot). Od té doby prob?hlo mnoho náborových vln, n?kte?í vydrželi a byli p?ijati po ro?ní p?ijímací lh?t?, jiní nevydrželi a odpadli. V sou?asné dob? je naše mužstvo strukturováno do 3 družstev (abecedn? - Bravo, Delta, Echo). Zakladatel jednotky CPT. MTJ odešel po narození svého Hurvínka a založení rodiny do airsoftového "d?chodu" - mj. se za?al zabývat známým projektem REGI Base. Velení jednotky p?enechal zodpov?dnému Harrimu ( Jan Harri Do?kal), který je zárove? velitelem Delta squadu.
Okolo roku 2007 byl zakoupen prvni Suzuki Samurai, od té doby se vozový park rozši?il a v sou?asné dob? 173rd disponuje 6ti bojovými vozidly - na akcích se zázemím je 173rd sob?sta?ná, vlastníme velké vojenské stany, elektrocentrálu atp.
Filosofie jednotky je utvo?it dobrou partu kamarád?, avšak i tak se musí spl?ovat ur?ité standarty. Nezapomínáme, že naše jednotka nese jméno opravdových voják? - hrdin?, a proto ud?láme vše proto, abychom ned?lali ostudu jejich jménu.
