The Mc-51 is actually a british gun (real steel), but is no longer in use in Her Majesty's Army

Today, there's two versions of it in airsoft : the Jing-Gong one, and the Marui one

Yay !

This airsoft gun is incredible : just mix a Marui MP-5, and a 500bbs magazine with some G-3's parts, and you'll get this british MC-51

As usual, there's no battery

It's full plastic, with some metal parts, such as the butt, cocking lever, magazine holder...

The gun itself is not quite powerful out of the box : poor fps, combined with poor accuracy and range, but a very high rate of fire with a 8.4v battery

I've upgraded it with a 6.03mm Vanaras barrel (285mm), a new hop-up (guarder), a M100 spring, and 6mm renforced bushings. Now, it destroys everything

Today, I'm using 7.62mm rubbered magazine holder with the G3's magazines, a silencer (with an adaptor), and a red-dot on a mp-5 rail

Conclusion

The Marui's Mc-51 is a reliable airsoft gun, but needs some upgrades to be powerful. After that, you'll get a very very nice replica, the best I've ever hold in my frog eater's hands

Pros:
- Reliable
- Strong plastic
- Very powerful with a few upgrades
- High capacity magazines (500bbs)
- Compact as a MP-5, with a high fire rate
Cons:
- Has to be upgraded
- Not much ways to customize it
- Poor precision and range out of the box
Esthetism rating: 10/10
Performance rating: 5/10
Precision rating: 5/10
Accessories rating: 7/10
Quality rating: 8/10
Overall rating:
9/10
Comments

impactgames I've always found the Tokyo Marui one to be very accurate even if the velocity is low. The Jing-Gong however definitely needs an aftermarket barrel.
